Hey gals -

Long time, no post! Girls are great - 3 and 1 1/2 now - can hardly believe it (see pics below)! Maeve potty trained herself in one week on vacation at the beach - can you hear me singing, "zippy doo da!" - incredible relief to me! Charlotte's eating all normal food - adult food as well, and seems to be a happy, rambunctious kid. I've been AWOL b/c my hubby and I opened a meal assembly business in the mid-Atlantic called, "Let's Dish!" - www.letsdish.com - and we've been booming for months! If anyone here isn't using a "meal assembly" business of any kind in your city, you should - incredibly lifesaver for busy moms, but still gets you homemade, healthy food on your table.

Anyway, we've got a sippy cup dilemma. We've got about 30 trashed cups we try to piece together, missing pieces, straws mangled - you know what I mean! I LOVED the First Years Clean & Simple Sport Bottle - I'm talkin' the big one with a contoured middle. Link here:

But, I can't find them anywhere! Well, I can find them on Austrailian websites - and I'm getting so desperate, I'm considering that! Anyone know of where I can buy them online? We've tried Walmart, Target, TRU, BRU, etc here, and can't find them!

As an alternative, I'm considering these Tommee Tippee ones, anyone using them? If so, two questions:
1) Is there really NO extra pieces - I want nothin' I have to disassemble and wash separately
2) I feel like Maeve is a little to old for a "nipple-like" sucking mechanism - what do you think?

Thanks so much for all your advice!

I have both the First Years Clean & Simple (in sippy cup form) and the Tommee Tippees. I like the Tommee Tippees better because the spout cover is attached in a way where it doesn't fall off. The spout is also softer than the Clean & Simple. Tommee Tippees sippy cups are the best deal from One Step Ahead (and you can probably find coupon deals online as well as get 5% back from Ebates).

I like the First Years Spill Proof Cup with flip top. I get them at Target and Toy's R Us. Here is a link to what it looks like: http://www.epinions.com/content_178240065156 this has NO loose parts. It is my FAVORITE! They come in 2 sizes. The larger one (in the picture and a smaller one with 2 handles.

Best wishes!

Actually, I have the First Years cup and the spout cover comes off very easily. My 1 year old was able to take it off and now won't keep it on when using the cup. I think others have written about the same problem, from the reviews that I have read.
