I just bought a Britax Marathon for my 2 year old daughter and moved my 6 month old son into her Costco Alpha Omega. I drive a 1999 Dodge Caravan and since the seat is rear facing it is impossible to get to the lever to tighten and loosen the straps because it is jammed up against the back of the seat. Also, it just isn't comfortable for my little one to sleep in because he isn't leaning back enough, even with the seat in the reclining position. Can I use one of those styrofoam round noodles to prop it up in the front so that it will lean back a bit? When the guy at BRU put in my RA he used one of these in the empty space between the base and the actual seat of the RA. I'm sure this was to help keep it in place. He did NOT use it to prop the seat up in any way, but can I? Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.
