I need a new carseat NOW - my son just turned three last week, and is 39 lbs. Logically, I think Husky would last longer. My 5 year old daughter is in a Marathon and loves it, however she's 53 lbs and 44" already. I like that it's higher so she can see more. I'd like to move her to a Husky, and give my son the Marathon, but she does NOT want to give up her Marathon. I'm considering buying a Husky for my son, although I like the idea of seeing more out the windows in a Marathon.

So, why do Marathons seem more popular, when the Husky lasts longer?

I think the Husky is just SO big, people are afraid it won't work in their car, or think they don't want their child harnessed that long. I have both and love both and have never had a problem fitting my Husky in the car.
Maybe your elder dd would like a Fiesta Bodyguard? Just something to think about :)
