Seat for tall, thin, three-year-old boy

My son seems to be outgrowing his Britax RA by height. The straps seem to be out all the way. However, he is 30 lbs soaking wet, and he doesn't turn three until February 2005.

Is it possible that he's really outgrowing it, or am I missing something?

If so, what seat(s) should I consider?

If his shoulders are above the top slots, then you need a new seat with taller top slots.
You can look at the Husky, Marathon, Wizard...or, since he's so light, the Graco Platinum Cargo or Evenflo Chase or Traditions. These have top slots taller than the Roundabout.

When you say the harness seems pulled out all the way...is it getting stuck on something in the back? Or is it just that his shoulders are up near/above the top slots?
