Does anyone know if the Apex was reviewed by Consumer Reports recently? Of course I trust Julie, Darren and all the expert advice we receive on these boards, but my Dad is a doubter. I was planning to buy an Apex for him when in comes out, but I know that he'll be negative about it if its not rated by CR.
I know that I can't go wrong with a Britax, but my DS will only be in his grandpa's car once in awhile. I'm looking for a cheaper yet reliable seat for a tall, 3 yo who is probably close to 40 lbs to use when he's w/ his grandaparents. A good CR review would be helpful.
