Xpost in BBB--Graco Platinum or Evenflo Traditions

We are getting ready to move my 8 month old out of his infant seat and need to move his 2 1/2 year old brother out of his convertible to make room. I am looking at the Graco Platinum CarGo or the Evenflo Traditions. Does anyone have any feedback about either of these seats? DS is about 36 inches and 33 lbs. I would welcome any other suggestions in this price range ($75-125). Thanks!

Thumbs up to both of them :). Try playing with them in the store and see which you prefer...that's really the best way to know. Only focus on the harness ease-of-use and installation in your car, if possible, and don't worry about use as a booster...you can hand it down to the baby as a harnessed seat later and get a dedicated booster when the time comes (Parkway or Turbo or Recaro Young Style are much nicer as boosters than any 'combo' seat can hope to be)
