I think I read that the Recaro boosters don't have armrests. Do all the others? Wouldn't an older child be uncomfortable without them? I went to the movies the other night and was uncomfortable and couldn't figure out why until I realized the armrests were up. Once I put them down, I was much more relaxed.

If they don't have armrests, like the Parkway, then they can use the side wings to rest your arms on..most kids do pretty well, either way. Some armrests are so low they are usesless...except that they keep the seatbelts low and tight on the hips.
The Husky and Marathon don't have armrests and my kids never complain, anyway, so hmmm, but armrests are certainly getting more prevalant, they used to be totaly absent!
