Quick, anyone know how tall the highest harness slots are on the Recaro Young Sport?

How does it compare to the Britax MA/BLVD/Decathlon?

TIA.

I think i heard that they were about the same but the MA/BV/DC are seats that harness up to 65 lbs and the Recaro harness' to 40 lbs and then becomes a booster. It depends on the situation that would make me choose one over the other.

Hi, that is what I heard too but then I saw a post somewhere else stating the slots were 1" lower than the MA/BV/DC seats so I was just wondering if that was accurate.

I actually have a Blvd I just ordered online (never saw it IRL, just saw a good deal and bought it) but now I am questioning my decision. DS is 32mos, 27lbs (10th percentile) and 38-3/4" tall (90th percentile). He's got approx 2-1/2 to 3" left until he outgrows the Blvd harness. If he stays on his current growth curve he won't be 40lbs until he's 6-7yrs old however he will have outgrown the Blvd I just bought before that time. I would like to keep him harnessed until he's at least 40lbs. I can take the Blvd back to BRU so that's not really a problem, I'm just wondering if I should have gotten either the Recaro combo seat since he will probably be old enough for a bpb by the time he outgrows the Blvd anyway. I just hate to keep shelling out $$'s on carseats! Also dh is getting sick of listening to me talk about them, LOL.

Does anyone have a Young Start they can measure for me? Unfortunately I can't find a local store that carries them. :(

And this one http://www.kids-in-the-car.org/seatsframe.html (oh, that might not go directly to it, but it's easy to find from the home page)
