I know many of us are trying to find narrow carseats (I'm having the 3 across problem myself), so how's this for a change of pace....

I have a friend whose stepson is nearly 6yo, about 90 lbs and 4 ft. She says they've tried 2 boosters, one high back and one that sounds like the TurboBoooster backless, and his hips just don't fit in them. She knows it's safer for him to be in a BPB, and he is apparently not that comfortable with just the seatbelt anyway (cuts him across the neck, he can't see out, etc.). Suggestions?!

TIA!

Yeah, the Turbo is really pretty narrow.
The Britax Parkway, the Evenflo Big Kid, and the Cosco Apex (used without the harness) are all quite wide and comfy seats. The Cosco High Rise or Ambassador is a great wide backless choice.

Thanks for the input! I knew you'd come through! :) I'll pass along the info--of course, he may grow out of any of these seats by weight soon, but that's a whole different problem.

Any other suggestions or personal experience welcome too!
