I have learned so much by reading your posts and advice over the last couple of days. Still, choosing a seat is overwhelming -- there are so many choices, features and factors to consider. As I was reading some of the posts, I ran across a reference to the Safeguard Go. (Julie, was that you?) It sounds fantastic! But, I've never seen one in person or known anyone to use one or rate one. Does anyone have any experience with the S.Go? Is there anything you can tell me about it? Is it really as safe as the other seats? Are there any cons? If it is such a cool seat, why haven't I heard more about it? Would love any info you can pass along.

Thanks!

I think its supposed to be pretty nice. Really great if you need to move a seat a lot.

It has a floppy back though, so, I'm not sure about comfort. Though, it does have headrests, which are nice. Its definately compact in that the child's back would essentially be all the way to the car's backseat, maybe it would work well in your car because of that.

You do NEED to use it in a location with a top tether. It seems that it installs "best" if you have lower anchors, but you can use a seatbelt if you don't have lower anchors in the spot you are using.

It also needs to be fully supported by the vehicle's seatback because it is floppy. Meaning, your child's head, sitting in it must be lower than whatever seatback/headrest your car has. For this reason, it won't work my my husband's truck.

Its been talked about a bit here, and over on the Baby Board.

Maybe some searches will help get some more background on it.
