more Britax advice, please?

Hi everyone, can you guide me in the right direction?

We have a Roundabout and a Marathon and love them both, but DS has approached the limit for the Roundabout. He's 2.5 yrs old, weighs 40#, and is 39 inches tall.

We have an Odyssey and an Accord.

Would you recommend the Britax Boulevard over the Regent because of the additional side impact protection?

What might be the next best model for safety and comfort for DS?

Given his size, I think you had better go with the Regent. Whatever you lose in side impact protection, you will gain in being able to keep him harnessed longer.

My daughter outgrew her Roundabout by height and weight just before she turned three. I bought Marathons (same harness heights as the Boulevard, I think), but now she is about to outgrow them for height before she's even 4.5. I would like to keep her harnessed for longer, and so may end up buying Regents anyway.
