We went ahead and bought two Radians for our two RAV4s. We've had a few minor problems with them, but have received INCREDIBLE customer service from one of the engineers at Sunshine Kids and that has made us get over the little problems. Now our new issue is that my in-laws will be taking our DS (35 mos, 39", 36#) every other Wednesday. They know that I'm really anal about the carseats not getting removed from our cars, so they have said that they want to buy a seat for their car (2001 Toyota Avalon). Since they will only be using it twice/month (and they drive other people frequently) it is very likely that they will need to remove it when DS isn't in it. I was leaning toward another Radian, but after reading a lot of posts I'm thinking the Safeguard Go might be the right seat for their car. Any thoughts?
Now I feel guilty about making my mom buy a Regent for her car! I hadn't even thought about the Go when I "forced" her to spend all that money. Although, I do love Britax and I think my mom is very pleased with the seat.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The GO is suuuuuch a pain (well, relatively... it's easy to install, but the straps get all wonky folded up and it's hard to set up every time you re-install it, sort of...) to use properly, nothing like as nice as a Radian, honestly, don't feel bad!
Maybe a RideSafer Travel Vest would work for the IL's? Small, not hard to use, cheap-ish, and yes, kids LOVE wearing a vest instead of being in a car seat (it'll work in the middle, so not no worry about it's not having side impact protection).

Yeah, LOVE the Sunshine Kids guys, they are really proud of that Radian, lol.
