I live on a dirt road and need a stroller that will work on it and will be safe for a newborn. My oldest will be three when the baby is born, but I think she will still want to have the option of riding. (I do have a single jogging stroller that I can use after the baby is old enough and my daughter no longer wants to ride.) It would be a bonus if I could find a stroller that also would be portable, but I'm somewhat resigned to having to buy a second one. (Finding that one is a whole different battle, I guess!)

I saw a Jeep model at the Baby Dept, but I'm concerned about the quality. Has anyone tried it?

BTW, our infant seat is a Century Smart Fit--maybe it's compatible w/ some models?

Thanks for your help!

I believe the Jeep stroller is made by Kolcraft. Instep makes a front swivel wheel double stroller that may be better for you.

Try this website: http://www.joggingstroller.com/how2choose/index.htm

I found them very helpful!

Thanks. That is a good website. I love my Instep 10K, but I don't think Instep makes a stroller that is safe for a newborn. I am thinking about Baby Trend's Sit 'n' Stand LX Stadium, which is basically a tandem stroller that converts to a Sit 'n' Stand. Does anyone have experience with it?
