I am due with DD #2 in early September and I'm looking for a manageable (not tooooo wide) double stroller. I'd consider a tandem but I've heard they're hard to steer. I was leaning towards a MacLaren (I have a quest, which we love), but we have about 10 steps to our front door and I think I need something lighter. So far, the lightest things I've found are the Perego Aria twin (18 lbs) and the Combi twin savvy (22 bls)...any opinions on these? We currently use our stroller A LOT, but I have a feeling I won't use the double as much (I'll want to stay home rather than take them both out unless we're going to the playground LOL)...I almost think I'd be better off with a buggyboard or something because DD #1 is a major squirmer and is always escaping from the stroller NOW.
But I'd love some advice--especially comparisoins of these two! Thanks!
