Hi
My son is 4 but very tall.
It seems like the Trek bikes are $130 and the Schwinn's are $100
and someone has a used Murray bike for $40 with helmet, knee-pads and training wheels.
Does anyone have any stories about these brands? How do they hold up if left outside in the fog? We had a chrome Radio Flyer trike which rusted to oblivion in less than a year when we left it out in the fog (we live near the beach).
Is there an all painted bike without chrome that is good and can be handed down from one kid to the next? Is Murray any good?
We have a friend around the corner, a big kid (young teen) that broke his bike jumping it and got really hurt. So I know boys can be tough on bikes.
