Does anyone have good suggestions for a indoor climber or gymset? I have a 14 month old (16 mo at christmas) who loves to climb on everything. I loved the set of big cushion slides/steps/ramps that pottery barn had, but they discontinued it and I can't find anything similar for a reasonable price. I have been considering the 8 in 1 climber, but it just seems so huge it would take up her whole playroom. I would like something that we could use indoors for now as we live in Minnesota. To anyone that has the 8 in 1, have you tried moving it, meaning if we set it up inside for now how bad would it be to have to haul it outside later (I have heard the initial assembly is a bear).

Below are links to similar postings on the Baby board. The first one is the question I posted not too long ago. The second one is a similar question and the third link is regarding the 8-in-1.

A good source might be a preschool supply company like www.discountschoolsupply.com. I remembering seeing in their catalog big sofy blocks and slides.

We just bought the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber for my son's first birthday, so far it is working out really well. He can't quite climb the slide yet which suits me just fine as it keeps him off the platform for a while longer. The platform seems less dangerous than some of the more open ones. It has two nice "rock" climbers on the sides for later. The colors are much more appealing than many of the climbers. It takes up about as much of the playroom/living room as I am willing to donate to a single gross-motor activity (we still wanted room for him to run around, play with other things). His current favorite activity, besides sliding down, is sitting at the top and catching balls or blocks which we throw up to him, and then dropping them down the slide. Apparently this is hysterically funny.

Hope this helps,
