Hi, this is my first time posting on this forum. Hello, everybody! :)

After posting on the Bargain board about the free shipping at Sears, and saying I was going to order the Cozy Coupe, I decided to check Amazon.com's reviews before I hit that "Order Confirmation" button. Kind of glad I did. At least 50% of the 150 reviews mentioned that it is frustrrating putting together the Cozy Coupe, and many suggested paying the extra $10 to have it assembled at the store.

Anybody here has a Cozy Coupe II? Do you like it? Was it hell putting it together? I wonder whether it is possible to find an older model Cozy Coupe now. Our negghbors all have one, and the older model just seems better looking to me. Thank you much!

Hi Lin! :)

I have some cozy coupes, now one is older it's actually blue, the other is newer but older if that makes any sense LOL...i don't recall DH saying either were too difficult to put together...now i need to look up a cozy coupe II to be sure, ours is red and it had a key that made noise..

Around here nobody will put anything together, so your on your own to do so :D

ETA: ok here is the link off of LT site

Ours looks exactly like that, he never made any wild comments on it's putting together..of coarse this wasn't the first thing he has put together, the metal swing set w/1000's of screws and such was quite fun ;)

Hi, Pam, thank you! :) Alas, my dh has the least amount of patience for things like this among all the people I know. He is always very patient with the outside world: work, friends, strangers. It seems like he just uses his ration of patience all up before he comes home. lol. So to preserve my marriage as well as keep him from having a heart attack from too much cusring, ;-) I went ahead and paid extra $10 yesterday at TRU to have it assembled. I have to go pick it up today, and have no idea whether it is going to fit in my Elantra... Maybe I'll just tow it home. lol.

p.s. I still like your "rice ball" the best. Let me know when you want to retire it/him/her. ;-)

LOL, well unfortunately here they wouldn't put something together for you even if you paid them *sigh* just has never been an option. My DH would have probably paid somebody 10$ to do it also...he doesn't like putting things like that together, since it requires reading instructions which he prefers not too do ;)

Hmm have not decided to let little rice ball go yet, i do like yours though, hungry little critter LOL...

Good luck getting your coupe home! I'm sure the boys will love it...
