I have seen them at places like Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx for around $10. Target has a decent selection for around $15.

Thanks I appreciate that. My daughter is just crazy for the Thomas stuff, and I hope my son will be too.

I bought a set for DS last year at Target. It was the Best of Thomas, Best of James and Best of Percy in a collector's box and I think it was $19.99. I haven't looked recently so I'm not sure if they still carry it but it was such a good deal, it's worth a try!

We've gotten many of ours at Marshall's/TJ Maxx or Sam's Club for around $10 each. Recently, Target had a set of three (two of which we didn't have) PLUS a free train (Mavis) for $20, so I grabbed that. For a while, they had free trains on the videos, so we got quite a few videos ($10 for a video plus a train was also a great deal) but I haven't seen that much lately.

Sams Club had a set of 3 plus a free train car for like $12 or so. A friend picked it up for DS's birthday but we haven't opened it yet. It would be like opening Pandora's box...LOL...
