29 month old DS is very interested in our computer. Sometimes we visit kid-friendly sites together (eg. noggin.com, pbskids.org). We've also got some hand-me-down Reader Rabbit software that he might be able to enjoy, so we are thinking about making our old computer which is sitting unused in the basement "his" computer for playing.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how we can set up a computer playstation that is ergonomically appropriate for a toddler?

Thanks!
(updated because I just realized I didn't know how many months old my almost 2-1/2 y.o. is!)

Sensational Beginning carries one but it is pricey. I wonder if a regular computer desk w/ a chair/booster or kinderzeat would work????

It's cute, but probably is $$$ given it's limited life expectancy, plus there's no back support! Do you have a kinderzeat? I know there has been tons written about them on the BBB board. I feel like it might be too late to introduce one now for 29 m.o. DS for eating. He is pretty much going straight from the high chair to our chairs and has been refusing to use the booster (Cooshie Tushie).

I can't really justify getting one just for the computer. I do have a 5 m.o. so perhaps I could get double duty out of it as a kitchen/comuputer chair...? In fact I just bought a relatively inexpensive high chair for younger DS (haven't taken it out of the box yet) because I hate our Chicco. However, would I then be starting a chair "war" between the boys...?

BTW, when I looked at the desk at Sensational Beginnings, I saw some of their other cute stuff. That baby keyboard looked great. Are you by any chance familiar with it? Are we too old for it?

Thanks!

Really? Wow! I would NEVER have thought to look there. Our Tuesday Morning is pretty disgusting. Is that typical or is our local one just extra gross? (i.e. filthy, aisles you can't get thru, stuff totally piled in...).

Our DD uses our computer workstation with our regular computer chair that adjusts in height, as well as her own Dora the Explorer kid-sized mouse, which we bought on ebay. Here's a link to a picture of some different styles: http://store.ergocube.com/ergokids.html?OVRAW=kids%20mouse&OVKEY=kid%20mouse&OVMTC=standard . Pretty cute, huh?
