I'd like to get a trike for my daughter for Christmas, who will be 2.
Here are the features I want:
1. She has short legs, so a short seat to pedal distance would be good.
2. Would like something I can push.
3. Would prefer to stay around $50.

I've been looking at the Radio Flyer Push and Steer and the Fisher Price Rock, Roll, and Ride. I read some bad reviews about the Radio Flyer on ToysRUs website. Anyone have experience with these two or can make another recommendation?

Thanks,

I have the radio flyer. Well, I'm not sure of the model, it was a gift, but in theory you can push and steer it. In reality, the handle mostly is for pushing and perhaps emergency steering. Pretty much, you have to either apply constant pressure or push down to pick up the front tire to "steer."

DS is short and could JUST reach the pedals if the seat was all the way down on his 2nd birthday. Now, he can reach well, still with the seat all the way down, but prefers to use it as a scoot toy. He was 32 1/2" (or 33 1/2" if you believe my ped. office but we couldn't replicate those results at home) when he turned 2 and he's 34" now.

HTH,
