Ripped LeapPad book

One of DS' LeapPad books got ripped by my 2 yo. Does anyone know if I tape the page, will the pen still work? My 5 yo is a little anal and wants nothing to do with something once it is ripped.

If anyone has tried this, let me know. TIA!

I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure it would work. The pages are just paper and what makes it work is the interaction of the signals sent between the pen and the LeapPad itself. As long as you have the cartridge and hit the right spots, you could have the book missing and it would still "work". The book just provides the visual cues & stimulation. Oh, and I totally understand about your 5 yo. Mine freaks at the tiniest things.
