I've been looking around for a camera for my toddler, trying to plan ahead a little, and I've seen a few on the market. Does anyone have any experience with any of these?

Kelly,

I have no experience with any of these cameras, but I have given my then-2.5 y.o. a disposable camera. For him, the biggest issue was not understanding how to close one eye to look through the viewer. I think the one at One Step Ahead seems like a good solution to that problem. In fact, I sent the link to my dh, who is an avid photographer--this would be a nice activity for them to do together.

Both my niece and nephew had the FP one back when it was 110 film. (They are 12 and 14 now!) They both loved them and they held up fantastically. The 14 year old still has his, though 110 film is pretty hard to find these days! The two-eye viewfinder was really easy for them.

We are even considering getting one for DS for our travels this summer. Just wish they made one that was digital! That is so what he is used to, I'm not sure if he'll like not being able to see the pictures til after we get home.
