Is there any way to keep your toddlers from getting sunscreen in their eyes? It seems that no matter how careful we are about what we put on DD she manages to get some on her hand and then into her eyes. She then spends the next day looking like a pink eye victim. Anyone have a brand recommendation (preferably one I can buy online since we live in Japan).
Thanks!

hi, never posted here before but may be able to help you.
Try a different sunscreen ingredient. I've experienced stinging eyes from PABA formulations. Try finding one with an active ingredient of either avobenzone, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide. Look at what you are using now and if any of those ingredients are listed as the active ingredient, eliminate that one and try a different. I don't know what's available in Japan, but if you look up drugstore.com you can probably find some pics of sunscreens by Neutrogena or Ombrelle, both of which I've used with success with children.
good luck
