I'm wondering if I can replace the swings with toddler swings. Also, is it worth the investment. Thanks.

I have had my eye on the Step 2 set. I am interested in knowing as well...

I called Step 2, and they said that, yes, you can interchange regular and toddler swings. Good news! (Of course, they only recommend that you use a Step 2 swing, but I think we will be OK with our Little Tikes.)

We ordered this directly from Step2 direct about a week ago. It should be here within the month -- I'll post a review then! We are also planning to replace the swings -- one for baby and one for toddler. It was $399.99 with $99.99 shipping, and no sales tax to IL - the cheapest we were able to find.

As far as the investment goes - IMO, I think that the kids won't ever want a huge wood/cedar playset - by the time they are big enough to play on such a large set, they will want to go to the neighborhood park with their friends. We don't plan to ever upgrade. Instead, we'll give it away to cousins someday (none yet, but planned). So, I think something like this is the perfect size and, well, I suppose it's priced at the going rate for a plastic swingset.

Like I said, I'll post my review when it arrives and we set it up.

Yes - and we love it! I have both the FP baby swing and a Little Tykes airplane with it.
