Hello,

Friends' daughter is turning 5, and I can't think of what to give her. Please help :-)

TIA!

Learn to read books are great at this age. You can even put together a basket of a couple "Barbie" or "Princess" books and maybe a doll. If you are looking for toys ideas a lot of girls at this age are into Groovy Girls, Barbie dolls or any of the dvd's, Disney Princesses, Madeline or even a jewelry making set...

Is she starting Kindergarten this year? Maybe a "back-to-school" backpack with some cool school supplies (I know my parents always bought me the cheapest stuff, no characters or anything "in"). You would definitely have to coordinate with Mom or Dad on this, but you might earn the title "Cool Aunt" (even if its just in name!)
