Last year, the Christmas parade was ran Dec 1-31, although the one we see on TV is filmed earlier in the month (usually the first weekend of December). Just be aware, the first two months of December (right after Thanksgiving) are some of the least crowded times to go, while the last weeks prior to New Years Day is one of the most crowded times. So if you go right at Christmas, be prepared for BIG crowds. Christmas Day is supposed to be one of the busiest days of the year. Just FYI...

Personally, we are going Dec 4-14 this year (can't wait!). We went this timeframe in 2002 and did Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Candlelight Processional w/dinner pkg. It was very worth it...we really enjoyed ourselves. The Osbourne Lights are pretty cool too, and it's fun to go around to the different resorts to see all the different Christmas decorations. This site talks about all the things that were scheduled last year: http://allearsnet.com/tp/holiday.htm just to give you an idea.
