We stayed in the Hampton Inn in Newtown 2X when we went to Sesame Place. I have found the people at the Hampton Inn to be friendly. It has always been very clean and it makes it so much easier to have breakfast included!

Have fun!

do you mind me asking how much a room costs? Also, how far from the park is it? I am not sure if we are going to stay overnight but wanted to make reservations anyway...

I reserved a room for the beginning of June - fri and sat night for $89 a night for 2 double beds. They said it was a special. I checked the hampton inn website and then called the 800 number. first they wanted $139. I told them the website had a king for $129 and they came back and said they had a special rate for $89 for 2 doubles so I took it. HTH..

eta: I think it says it's about 12 miles from sesame. would have like to be a little closer but not a big deal to us

I do not remember what we paid, but it only took about 10 minutes to get to Sesame Place. They sell discounted tickets at the hotel, plus you get freecharacter visit passes.

They have a good breakfast bar and it is very clean. There is also milk and cookies served every evening.

Have fun!
