National Parks or Ireland

We are planning a trip later this fall hopefully to one of our National Parks and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Our daughter will be almost 15 months old. She likes hiking in the carrier & also walking in the jogging stroller. We live near Baltimore, and don't want to have a long flight followed by a long drive as would be the case if we headed to say SLC & then had to drive south to Zion & Bryce & Arches. Any thoughts?

We're also kicking around going to Ireland.
