Travel to Thailand with a Toddler

Has anyone made this trip before? We will be in both Southern and Northern Thailand (Phukket, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Bangkok) for two weeks in late Nov/early Dec. Any suggestions for fun activities or travel advice?
