I'd love to find one of those carseat dolly's for less than $90! I've seen the gogo kidz one at onestepahead.com and theportablebaby.com but don't want to pay 90 dollars for it! We plan to use it with our Britax Marathon while traveling over the holidays. Does anyone know of alternatives or similar products? Theportablebaby.com does have one for rent, so that's an option--but I'd love suggestions.

Here is what I'm talking about:

Thanks!

Amazon.com has an alternative that straps onto your wheeled suitcase. I believe it is called a toddler car seat accessory (you can do a search) for $25

We do love our gogokidz but agree that $90 is ridiculous (i think we paid $75 a couple of years ago). one thing worth noting is that it retains its value for resale (i see them listed at $65 second-hand and they seem to be snapped up right away). if it's just for one trip, maybe you could rent or borrow one? they are mighty handy when traveling.

Last year I was considering just using a regular luggage cart like this one (http://www.target.com/Flat-Folding-Multi-Use-Cart-Black/dp/B000BOACEO/sr=1-3/qid=1215355094/ref=sr_1_3/601-1953522-5047328?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3Aluggage%20cart&page=1) at Target. I *think* it should work just fine as long as you don't want to use the carseat for your child to sit in while you are at the airport. I also took a stroller so that wasn't an issue for us. In the end, we wore the seat (a Wizard) backpack style using just the thether strap.

We love the Traveling Toddler - I don't remember if I got it from Amazon or eBay. It attaches to your roll-on suitcase. It's kind of a pain to detach @ security but for the most part, it makes it easy to consolidate everything through the airport.

We have this and I keep meaning to try it for this purpose:

but I haven't yet. I would use bungee cords or rope. The price is right!

We used this carseat bag/cover when we went to Florida this spring. It has wheels, so you can easily cart it around the airport (3 yo dd actually even sat in it while I pulled). it's big enough that even with a marathon, it just zips shut w/o any pulling/tugging.

The wheelie carrier was the FIRST one we ever had and it was a PAIN to stuff our MA in & out @ security and the plane. If you're just going to check it as baggage, there probably won't be a problem, but if you plan on going thru security and/or using it on the plane, that's something to think about.

We bought two Go Go's for our toddlers and love them! It makes navigating the airport so much easier.

Some airports have scanners that are not big enough for the carseat to get through while still attached to the Go Go...so be ready to explain and have them hand check it.

Also be ready to have several people comment on them! We get asked all the time where we bought them (Amazon) or they will say something like "wish they had those when our kids were young!"
