View Full Version : Stretchmarks - when do they fade???

I should've known that I would get stretch marks especially when I had the silvery marks on my hips when I "became a woman". Well these marks are ugly deep and purple. I know that I need to wait for them fade, when does that happen? Just wondering.

Mine began turning from purple to white within just a couple of months.

I've been wondering the same thing myself! Mine are on my tummy, but sound very similar in appearance to yours. No fading yet. :(

Mine are still silvery and it's been well over a year. :(

Plus I have new ones from losing weight. Sometimes you just can't win.

I have an 11 year old, and still had vivid stretch marks when I got pregnant with the baby. Luckily I just "re-used" the same stretch marks and didn't get any new ones.

i'm wondering the same. however, i have essentially no belly stretch marks but have awful ugly BOOB stretch marks.

My boobs are where the deepest marks are. I have stretchmarks everywhere though. It looks like I have bikershorts made of stretchmarks. I hope mine get reused to in the next pregnancy.

My worst stretch marks were on the breasts too. However, almost nine months later, they have faded so much they aren't noticable. My friend told me her stretch marks in that area faded also.

at 3.5 months after birth, mine are still ugly purple too. does Mederma really work? and would it work this late in the game?
