I have guest coming for dinner on Easter. I plan on serving ham, is that OK? I know they will slurge some, but thought I would have a few "diet friendly" items for them. Any suggestions?

If you have a Great Harvest bakery near you, you could get their whole wheat rolls (I think you said in your other post that the guests have been on SBD a while, so they should be able to eat whole grains now).

What's the rest of the menu? Ham is considered an OK food, to be enjoyed occasionally, so I wouldn't worry about it.

They keys are making sure that the foods are whole grain, low in sugar and no trans fats (hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils).

I would have a salad (with a low to no sugar added dressing, served on the side) and also another vegetable like cauliflower or broccoli.
