View Full Version : Tricks for Drinking Lots of Water

If anyone has any, please post them - this is the single most important part of feeling fit and losing weight, and it's really hard to do it.

Drink drink drink!

I drink a full, average-sized glass of water:
1. with every trip to the bathroom.
2. first thing in the morning, last thing at night.
3. with every meal.

Numbers 2 and 3 get in 5 glasses of water, so that means I only have to use the bathroom 3 times to make my water-drinking goals. What works for you?

i have a big jug that looks like the water bottles that you put on water machines. it is 2.2 liters, my daily water goal. it is easier for me to see it as one big drink as a bunch of smaller ones.

I pulled out one of my favorite crystal glasses here at home to help me drink more water. I put a lemon slice in it and then I just kept filling it until the lemon lost it's flavor. I also tried a strawberry slice just to make it look fancy. It was visually more appealing that way but I did have to fill it up several times just to equal one of my gigantic plastic blue cups. I'm using the blue cup now but I'll probably try the other idea just to keep things interesting.
