So i have been doing ok, having my trainer and going to the gym. I went 4x last week and i hope to go 5x this week, i will see.

I want to give myself a "reward". Ex when i lose __ pds i will go and get a massage at the spa. I LOVE the spa and i will be working more now because of tax season and i will have some extra spending money to treat myself. What is a good amount to make myself lose before i treat myself. I have been seeing some physical differences in my clothing- i can wear some clothes that i could not before but i have not really seen much movement on the scale. Should i tell myself 10 lbs, 15 lbs, drop a size completely, etc. What has worked for you?

Thanks so much

i always use 10% as my goal. so say you weigh 180 then 18lbs would be your reward goal :)

I favor a pedicure or something like that. It's pretty cheap. Reward yourself after sticking with a program for a 4 week period...that's what I usually do, but feel free to make that period shorter if it works for you!

The other is a handbag or new pair of very inexpensive jeans, shirt, etc, as you will continue to be getting smaller as time goes on!!

Way to go on your commitment.:)

Thanks guys. Well the pedicure idea is good but i am spoiled and get one anyways along with my manicure, i need my nails to look nice. I was thinking a massage but then i thought maybe a purse that i have been wanting because i will be able to keep it versus a massage that i get and then its over..... hmmm i am going to try to stick to my diet more this week but i have been going to the gym so i can't be too hard on myself.

Thanks and if you think of anything else let me know....

I went out with my friend today and i bought myself a new pair of sunglasses. They were more than i usually spend $85 versus $10 but i wanted something that would last and that i can wear and maybe motivate me a little bit more to eat healthier. They are really nice and i cant wait to wear them ( i bought them at night and have not worn them yet).
