I already go to the gym 2-3 times a week for my cardio but am wanting to add some weight training in as well. I just don't have time to take more classes since I don't want to take away time from my precious DC. But turning on a video after they go to sleep pretty much puts me at bedtime by the time I'm done without ANY relaxation at all. I know I've seen lists of exercises for at-home use in magazines and such, I'm hoping to find such on the web somewhere so that I can start right away. I'd love to find a list of exercises in order with number of reps listed etc that would be easy to just glance at while DH and I watch Law and Order (or whatever!). I'd love to add 20 mins a day of both arms and legs and do one each night plus some abs. I know exercises and how to do them but I just seem to get bored and quit if I don't have a prescription of sorts to follow. Does that make sense? Any thoughts?

I'd love any advice or urls!

my friend has a book that I have borrowed (but alas, never used...) called Woman's Edge Total Body Toning that looks really good. It has everything - all muscle groups and good tips for how to set up a plan. Of course, like I said, apparently not good enough to motivate me to do it, but I've been having trouble getting started.

these seem well detailed as well

GL, as long as you don't mind surfing through these, you'll find what you need!

Hmm, that does sound good. If I can't find what I need on the net, I'll see if my library has it. Thanks!

Thanks, Julie! These look great, hopefully I'll get a chance to surf these sooner rather than later to find one that works for me. I don't know why I didn't think to check Shape's website - great idea.

Of course, now our Tivo broke which means I have to watch - gasp- live TV! Which doesn't work at all with my schedule (ie the one where kids don't go to sleep just because my show is on!). Sigh! Fortunately, another Tivo is on the way.
