I can't wait till next week cause I am excited now. (and procrastinating at work) I played in an intermediate clinic last night for 90 minutes ! It was a GREAT workout (boy was I tired) and a lot of fun.
My knee is kinda achey, but the doc okayed it, and it was on clay, so I'll just ice it and hope for the best. It was so much fun though ! If anyone lives near neighborhood courts, I highly recommend checking to see if they have an adult clinic going on. It was reasonable, at 7:30-9 pm, so DH could watch the kids, and not too hot. And did I say it was a great workout ?? and fun ??
and the 10 year old practicing with us thought she could get a drop shot in on me in this game we were playing, and I smashed it cross court and she didn't know what hit her. (I didn't really hit her, just got the point and won). hah !juvenile, I know, but 10 year olds really don't need to try to show up their elders like that and think they are so cool and count the shot as a winner until it actually is....
