I live fairly close to the fabric district in LA and was considering making some CD. The fleece there is I think $2.99/yd which is a smokin deal. I ordered a kissaluv to see if maybe I could figure it out with that, but I was wondering if anyone has seen patterns for CD's (preferably contoured.)A friend of mine is interested as well, and she actually has a baby to try it out on. I will have access to a serger this summer while at my mom's and I have my own sewing maching, if that makes any difference. Sheesh! You would think I was due any second the way I am researching this stuff and I am not even PG yet!! LOL! Thanks in advance!

Check out the set of 5 patterns offered at http://www.borntolove.com/catlog15a.html - a friend of mine sewed all her diapers from a pattern bought from this site - unfortunately, I don't know which one, or whether it's in this collection!! They were contoured, done up with velcro, with a "doubler" sewn in, attached only at the back to make washing and drying easier. Her diapering setup cost hardly anything at all.

Hope that helps! I have mailordered from these folks and been happy with their turnaround.

Cheers,

I just did a search on "diaper patterns" online...this site looks promising: http://momzworld.tripod.com/clothdiaper/sewdiapers.htm
(there were a few others, plus sites which sell patterns...if you want to look around yourself.)

I've been making AIOs from http://www.darlingdiapers.com

She sells kits to make your own and they're AWESOME! You'll have to email her tho, since she doesn't currently have any on her site. :)
