what kind of absorbancy for UBCPFs should I get?

I want to get a bunch of CPFs. Currently I have 2--both are white and one is 4x8x4 and one is 4x6x4. Which type is better to have a lot of? I like the trimness when using the smaller one, but would I kick myself for not getting more absorbancy?

It depends on how heavy a wetter you have. I used the 4x6x4 until Sarah was about 20 months. She now out-pees them. Personally, I think it is worthwhile having both sizes since they are so inexpensive. You will not be able to use the 4x6x4 until potty training, but you might the 4x8x4.
