well, it was just a matter of time before i was lured in by all the yummy WAHM flavours, after reading all of the posts. *sigh*. i was trying to keep it super simple :) then i went ahead and did it -- i got a couldn't-pass-it-up-deal on 4 girly print sugarpeas hemp sz 2 dipes, and DH got super excited about them! so, hmm. i suppose we could expand The System. i still want to keep it simple but i do like a little variety.

the only covers i use are the ME airflows. dig the ventilation concept, thought they were perfect for a long time, but they're getting booooring. i'd love some print variety!

so here's what i am looking for:

dipes -- are there any others like the ME OS & SPs, 1 or 2-size adjustable diaper systems that will cover a large weight range? i don't even want to look at stuff that requires S, M, L & toddler size purchases. i prefer snaps for dipes. super absorbancy (hemp) is a plus. i basically use the MEs as a frame for joeybunz & SMJAE soakers.

covers -- like the ME airflows in concept. for covers, i think the snaps are actually kind of limiting. i'd be open to a similar cover with aplix, but it has to really hold the setting and not peel! they have to be big enough to cover the long, bulky MEs and still give a good but not binding fit around the thighs & waist. are snapdragon covers in this sort of proportion?

what do you do for covers for your supercute, wanna-show-them-off dipes? is there such a thing as clear PUL? ;)

TIA! i look forward to your suggestions!

clear PUL? Now that's an idea!

www.theposiepatch.com has airflow-style covers that have prints.

I have some covers from The Posie Patch. They are adorable, but I find that they are not as reliable as the Airflow nor are they as soft. I have a couple, but I won't order anymore.

These are also supposed to be similar in style to the Airflow, but I have never tried these: http://cotton-kids.com/reuzm/pulposprindi.html

You may want to consider SOS and Cuddlebuns. SOS are pretty hard to get, but CBs are readily available. Both are onesize diapers. SOS are available here: http://sos.ewahm.com/ But you generally have to "stalk" to get them, or try for used. She stocks the store on Fridays.

CBs are a "franchised" diaper and are available from lots of WAHMs, including:

The posie patch has very simal covers to the aiflows and extremely cute and covers an extended amount of sizing in the thighs and waist....Much trimmer than the airflows also like Beth said.....The clearest PUL ive seen are the Bummis and Alexis Featherlights Pull up covers....;)

If you want i can send you one of my Kind Hearted Woman diapers so you can try em' email me and you can have it....They cover a wide array of sizes seriously...They are much like the sugarpeas, cuddlebuns and ME OS(in the way the snaps make the diaper last a longer time size wise) and Leslie will make them exactly how you want them...I can send you both, one that she has instock and one of the ones i had made...Just say the word...

Wool...I just got my wool cover from sugarbums and this thing looks awsome...and its only like $15.00...it fits trim and it breaths...i love it...

EDITED BECAUSE IM A MORON::: bummis and alexis featherlights are made of nylon....sigh....im an idiot sometimes...but they good news is they work really well and fit relly trim under clothes but run really big(bummis) Arian is a small...

I LOVE Cuddlebuns and SOS! They're so stretchy and trim. The problem I have with 2-size diapers is that as the baby grows, you may find that neither of the sizes fits him/her. Like my Sugar Peas, size 1 fits good on Maya but the rise is a little low and the size 2 is way too big. Similar situation happened with my Liz's Cloth. Although some diapers have several sizes, you may not need all of them (only 2 or 3).

For cute PUL covers, I like Lucy's Hope Chest. It's PUL with fabric outer. Very trim and fits over all of my fitteds. Plus it never wicks! Becky is super nice to work with, too.

Wool covers, that's another story...I'm a wool junkie now LOL!
