Firefly Sleep tights-what am I doing wrong?

Ok, so I took the plunge on the sly. I ordered 3 from the BBCD board. I figured these would work since DD is such a big pisher! :) However, she has been waking up early completely soaked. It doesn't seem that the dipes are absorbent to me. Should I restrip? Use even more doublers? DH already gave up on them. TIA!

Do you have the hemp or cotton FF? Hemp will be more absorbant. I use a fleece topped doubler with the hemp FF to help DD feeling dry. It's soaked in the morning, but she seems fine with it. You can try restripping, too. What cover do you use? :)

I am using the cotton ones- that must be the problem. I never had this much soaking with my prefolds. I think I will try a fleece doubler and restripping before going back to my old method. :)
