Snappis

How many snappis should I have, and what is a good price for them? I know this will depend on whether I use cpfs or fitteds (see I am learning the lingo already!), but assume I am going to use all prefolds with snappis and how many should I have?

We keep losing them, so I just had to buy some more. We started out with three, and I think we had one more than we probably needed, so I would say, IMHO, two is good. I used a different one with each change, but that is probably not necessary. You may want an extra one or two snappis to throw in the diaper bag. This will probably prevent them getting misplaced so often.

I think Colleen at Natural Babies has the best price at $2 each and $1 shipping if you are just getting snappis. You may also want to check Kelly's Closet with the free shipping for $2.49. It depends on how many you decide to order.

I have 4. Two in the changing table (in case one gets dirty) and then I keep two more stashed in diaper bags.

So far, I've gotten by with two. I try to keep one in the diaper bag and one with my diapers and wipes. The only time I've ever run into a problem is when the one from the diaper bag travels into the house on the baby and doesn't make it back into the bag. I occasionally think i should get one more but never have. I use CPFs and fitteds about equally (so CPFs 50% of the time).

Snappis can break sometimes(even though Snappi gives a warranty)...they are good to have around...I wouldnt order as many as 1 in each color...lol but Nice to have atleast 4 ....

I started out with 3, but the little white snag things kept coming off and I lost those, so I ordered 3 more and I think I now have 4 usable ones.

They are $1.75 for 1, $3.40 for a 2-pack and $4.90 for a 3-pack. It looks like they're prepackaged by color, so if you bought a 3-pack, they'd be the same color; gasp!! ;)

okay so I did get one of each color. I think that is 7 or 8 of them.

So far, one fell down behind the headboard of my bed, and the cats have run off with two of them.

Soon I will be down to the two or three you all suggested!
