So, Nate's reached the PB poop stage and I need either flushable liners or one of those shower things, or both. Any recommendations?

We do flushable liners, but that's partially because there are three of us taking care of Colin (DH and my mom split childcare while I am working) and I wanted to keep it simple and quick. When Colin poops, we throw the liner into the toilet and shake off any stray chunks, then throw the diaper into the pail (no rinsing, soaking or dunking). No stains or other problems yet!

I absolutely couldn't cd without my Mini Shower. I don't know what i ever did before it. I used some disposable liners, but I don't like the feel of them, and poop always seemed to get on the diaper anyways. My DH even uses the mini shower with poopy diapers. ITs very easy to install and very easy to use.

I got mine awhile ago and I think I paid around 30 or 35 dollars for it. I got it at www.drytushies.com but it was at least 5 or 6 months ago so the price may have changed.

Who sells flushable liners?

I don't remember where I got them last time, but www.naturalebaby.com has them, if you're willing to chance it (see recent thread on their CS issues).

I am so glad you asked this question (hey my DS was born a day before yours neat)I recently saw the minishower at naturalbabies and she has inexpensive shipping. Do flushable liners keep baby's bum dry as well? I am still debating between the liners and the mini shower.

Thanks,
Cheryl

The flushable liners didn't keep Audrey dry and somehow poop kept escaping from them too.
The only that's helped with dryness is microfleece liners. I really prefer the fabric liners.

Thanks Briana - Is it weird to say that I am actually excited to get the minishower? Ever since DS has been having solid poopies changing soiled CDs have been traumatic for me ( I know I am a wimp) but now things are starting to come together and I can't wait to have a "solid" and workable CD system in place (yes I am very anal!)

Thanks again,
Cheryl
