With our first child due in June, I am hoping to CD, but Steve (DH) is kinda luke warm about the whole thing. He's the kind of guy who likes to have facts, facts, and more facts. Guess it's the lawyer in him. ;)

Anyway, what have been the most helpful websites and/or books for you re: CD? I've found some that I plan to pass on, but since many of you are already doing so, I thought you might be able to help me out just a bit more.

TIA,

Here are a few:
http://www.punkinbutt.com/articles.htm
http://www.borntolove.com/diaperfaq.html
http://www.mothering.com/9-0-0/html/9-3-0/9-3-0.shtml (just in case
this link messes up, you can go to mothering.com and search the
articles for "cloth diapers")
http://www.tinytots.com (look on the right side of the page)

HTH! The money factor was the one that convinced my DH we should use cloth. He ended up loving CDs, and has even tried to convince some of our friends they should try them. I hope you can get your DH on board.

The articles on Punki-butt (see post above) were what won my DH over to cloth. Now that I am struggling a little bit on whether to continue with cloth, my DH is trying to persuade me not to give up! This past weekend he took Josh upstairs to change his diaper (a disposable), and Josh came back down wearing cloth. DH smiled and said, "I put him in 'happy pants' all by myself--aren't you proud of me!" And this is from a man who literally scoffed when I said I'd like to try out cloth. He couldn't imagine why in this day and age anyone would want to "go back to the dark ages" as he put it. But now he's convinced. The clincher? When I sent him to the store to buy diapers, and he came back saying, "Do you know how much this little pack of diapers cost me?!" ;) My jobs done here!

Thanks so much for the links. I think they are just what I was looking for!
