Gel in disposables harmful to baby?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide between disposables and a cloth diaper service. I've read a lot of posts here and done a bit of research and feel like I have a good handle on the environmental and financial cost issues.

But I would like more information on whether the gel in disposables is potentially harmful to babies. (I know there are some disposable diapers without it, but my brain wants to figure out the gel issue and then decide whether to consider the gel-less disposables. ;-) ) Any studies, etc you could point me toward?
