Now that hubby is a SAHD and college student, he has started doing diaper laundry. Since Logan is in cloth 4 days a week now (disposables at the sitter Tues-Wed-Thurs), we have to do it more often than once a week.

So I figured hubby would wash on Mondays and I would do it on Fridays, which was my usual wash day since I work from home that day.

Last Friday, I woke up to find out that he had already started the diaper laundry! Hey buddy, it's my turn!

And this week, he just did the diapers yesterday. Which means all I have to wash tomorrow will be two Fuzzibunz from nighttime and maybe two prefolds.

Not fair! Hubby is stealing my CD fun! I'm going to have to set my alarm to wake up early so I can get my turn washing diapers.

It's a sickness LOL

(but I know you guys understand)

Karen, i think you have lost it. :)
Why are you not REJOICING at the thought that you no longer have to haul dirty dipes to the washer???? I love my CDs, but that task I do not love and seek every opportunity for dh to do it.
Maybe you can split the task by him washing and you folding???

YOU ARE CRAZEEEE!!!

oh good, I was beginning to think I was the only one. :)

We're doing it together today. I started the load and he was supposed to let it soak and start it washing while I was shopping, but he forgot. So I am going to have the cleanest diapers ever, after they soaked all day.

He doesn't know how to match up all the soakers with the right diapers anyway.

But what I want to know Karen, did you hide the wool? :) I hide the wool covers when daddy's "home alone".

LOL daddy knows not to touch the wool.

I just quizzed him:
"Tell me what you know about wool covers"
"um, they're waterproof if they are lanolized?"
"yes, and what else?"
"they're scratchy?"
"dear, is our smiley face cover scratchy?"
"no, I guess not."
"what do you know about caring for wool?"
"you just let them air out, right? and they don't go in the dryer?"
"right. Where else don't they go?"
"washer?"
"yes, and?"
::::blank look::::
"the diaper pail!"
"oh, yeah, no covers ever go in the pail, I know that"

I think the wool is safe.

Excellent! Now, Karen, please head down south and give my hubby a lesson in cover care! :) He's so smart but just so dumb when it comes to this stuff! LOL!
