Where to start?

OK, I want to try out this cloth diaper thing, as DD keeps getting rashes. Where do I start? I've seen kits mentioned, but where do I get them and how many? What about wipes? I've been using baby washcloths, but is there a better option?

Also, a silly question, but what do you do when you travel and will not have access to a washing machine, like camping or something? Thanks!

Yes that's a great thread Lori mentioned - check it out. It will give you lots of answers.

As for camping? If it were only for a couple days you can do cloth w/ your pail (if room allows) or use disposable. For me when on a trip I just use disposables.

If we are traveling by car and will only be a few days, I just bring the dirty diapers back with me to wash.
