Is a big Ol' Bum just part of CDing?

Brand new to the wonderful world of CDing. So, I'm wondering if a Bubble Butt on my DD is just part of the territory? She doesn't have one with the pockets, but with my flats and wool covers she sure does. :o She looks cute, but, still!

Are IPF's of CFP's skinnier?

the butt gets smaller as she gets bigger! don't worry! it will always be bigger than sposies. but i never think about it anymore now that schuyler is over a year old. (of course, he is a skinny guy and pants might fall off of him without that little extra from the cd!)

I agree. Nothing will ever be as thin and trim as disposable diapers. There are a few things that come pretty darn close though:

-trifold a prefold in a Nikky or Bumpy wrap cover
-a firefly diaper in a Nikky or Bumpy cover
-a Fuzzi Bunz stuffed with a Joey Bunz
-a Daisydoodle AIO

Anything other than that, and it will be a more "padded bum" ;) But honestly, after awhile, you don't even think twice about it anymore. Thats just what you are used to adn you forget how thin disposables are. Josh wears a sposie once a week to church, and it almost looks funny to me now to see a flat bum! LOL!
