Euclan has a little bit if lanolin in it, so your covers get a very light lanolin treatment each time you wash them in it. You can also use 1 tsp. baby shampoo, but without the benefits of the lanolin.

Hand wash your wool every 1-2 weeks. After about 6-8 washings, or if you begin to notice a decrease in the wool's effectiveness (leaks or wicking), you need to lanolize it.

Add a pea size amount (or 1/4" line) of pure Lanolin (like Lansinoh) to a mug of hot water. Stir well to dissolve. Add this mixture to 1 gallon of lukewarm water, and stir it in. Add freshly washed cover and let it soak for 15 minutes. Do NOT rinse--squeeze out excess water, or roll cover in a towel. Hang to air dry. All done! :)
