I have participated in a lot of coops in this group and Jackie (the gal that runs it) is completely reliable and great to work with!

It completely depends on the co-op itself. Most of them are run by one person who places an order with a company for a large quantity of an item so everyone can get a wholesale-ish price. Then they are shipped to that one person who ships them out to everyone else. So you should trust that one person because s/he will be holding your money before you get the goods. Some co-ops charge fees just to cover expenses and some co-ops charge fees to cover time and trouble too.

Can anyone join this group? I see that it says restricted membership.

My sister could really use a sprayer as baby #2 can finally fit the cloth dipes she has.

Thanks

Yeah, she might send you a small questionaire before your membership is approved, but that's just to keep weirdo's out.

You're in-the-know about so many co-ops, Shandelle! :) Do you mind posting (or e-mailing) the pricing on both sprayers--- I don't want to sign up for the yahoo group if they're higher than I'd pay; too pricey and I'd rather get the mini-shower. Not that I'm really stuck on getting anything, at this point, but it's nice to know the options.

TIA!

The toilet sprayer is $20+$1 co op fee and $3.85 for shipping on up to 3 sprayers.
The sink one is $21+$1 co op fee and $3.85 for up to 3 sprayers. I got the sink one and it was about $25. Less than I would have paid for the minishower, and I won't have to change the plumbing!

Thanks so much!!! DH is out of town til tonight -- I want to see if I can convince him we'll want (at least) one of these in the near-enough future!

And, BTW, I got on the board with no problems. There's a question when you sign up, but I think I was approved within a couple of hours! (Can't wait to see what else comes up there!)
