disappearing post

I've heard of this happening-- but it just happened to me. I tried posting 4 times and nada. So if a quadruple post happens at some point, I'm sorry!

ARgh, that has got to be frustrating. Here's what I do...I learned it the hard way as my school email acct. has shorted-out on me after writing a long email and then *poof* gone!

So, if I have a long note, I "copy" it before I post it. Just hightlight it and do the <ctrl><C> and you'll have a copy of it in case it vanishes!

Fortunately, it let be go back in the browser to the note I'd composed, so I could copy it. I used to copy all before posting and got lazy- guess I'll have to start doing that again!

Did you open another browser window while you were posting? I've found that pretty much the only time my post disappears is when I'm replying or posting a message and I open another window to get a pic or find a link. For some reason, this seems to cause me problems every time. :P
